Global HR Project Manager for Workday (m/f/div) Madrid, Pamplona or Hamburg

Purpose:

As our Global HR Project Manager and Team Lead for Workday Services, you are responsible for the implementation of Workday and later steering of Workday Services as part of our overall HR Transformation at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE). Workday will be the key enabler & backbone for the digitalization of HR Services at SGRE.

Your new role

  • You are the responsible HR Project Manager for global Workday rollout, working in close collaboration with internal IT to design & implement our solution platform tightly integrated into the new HR Process & IT landscape
  • You support the development of the global HR target operating model (TOM) by building up & directly leading the Workday Process Support Team as part of the global HR Service Organization
  • Within this role you continuously interact and partner with global & local HR experts, as well as with other internal partners & service providers
  • You drive user adoption and continually gather feedback to improve the user experience by prioritizing & implementing project requests
  • You identify potential for development and implementing process optimization, especially during cloud updates, release changes or based on customer feedback
  • You ensure data security and protection of the Workday setup according to legislation and internal rules – developing & maintaining governance around Workday services for overall demand management & data quality

Your qualifications

  • You successfully completed a university degree in Business Administration or Information Technology with a minimum of three years’ experience in HRIS
  • Previous leadership experience is required, as you will be leading a global team
  • You have strong project management experience from a previous Workday Rollout, ideally within a complex environment
  • You are able to work effectively in a high volume, deadline driven and in a fast-paced environment
  • You bring experience within working in a cross-functional and global project & service environment and you demonstrate business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity and relationship management skills
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to collaborate with executives, employees, and partners
