Job Description:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a young, organised Reservationist/Administrator for a busy Reservations department. 
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the effective operation of the Reservations Department
  • Liaise with the Reservations & Revenue Manager and assist them to lead, motivate and manage the performance of a team of Reservationists
  • Ensure all team members operates with a sales attitude
  • Supervise the accuracy of all administration of bookings, carry out checks on a daily and weekly basis and oversee the daily, weekly check lists are completed correctly
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of rooms' revenue figures and reservations targets
  • Assist the Reservations & Revenue Manager with group promotions and packages design and keep an updated log of all current offers.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor degree, preferably in Hotel Management, Public Relation or related fields
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Good communication skills - oral and written
  • Methodical and absolutely committed to giving an outstanding service to the guests
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Highly presentable
  • Excellent telephone manner and guest interaction skills
  • Ability to work under pressures
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • Proficiency in English
