Chemical engineer (Chemical Lab)
A chemical engineer designs and develops the processes that make a diverse range of products.
Their work focuses on changing the chemical, biochemical and physical state of a substance to turn it into something else.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Testing new processes.
- Collecting data required to make improvements and modifications.
- Overseeing the construction of new plants.
- Using and developing process simulation software to work out the best production methods.
Skills
- Bachelor degree in chemical engineering or any related field.
- Maths and science skills, particularly chemistry.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Planning and organizational ability.Excellent IT skills.
