  • $64,548.84 – $74,231.16 per annum + super
  • 2x Full Time Fixed Term Position
  • 35 hours per week, 9-day fortnight

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join the Customer Service Team at City of Canada Bay.

As a Customer Service Officer you will be responsible for providing quality customer service to external and internal customers, ensuring that all enquiries and complaints (face to face, telephone, electronic or written) relating to the full range of Council services, are dealt with according to established procedures.

This is a truly supportive team environment where you will be encouraged, supported and challenged to do your best. As a Customer Service Officer you will complete a variety of tasks from the Contact Centre to the front counter. There is also a monthly meeting in the evening that allows the team to develop and plan together.

Successful applicants will have a Certificate IV in Customer Service or willingness to obtain a relevant qualification, prior experience in a customer service role, and excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with a diverse range of customers.

Previous local government experience and experience with Technology One software are highly advantageous.
