Draftsman (m/f/d)

TAURI Industries GmbH is a rising, innovative company with almost 15 years of experience in aircraft manufacturing and design. During the last years historical replica biplanes have been built and delivered to a wide community of aviation enthusiastic customers and small enterprises. Now, TAURI Industries set the focus on the innovative and globally growing unmanned aviation market to provide a fully autonomous UAS designed for multiple missions, including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

The next generation aircraft system, currently under development, is aimed to make the world more connected, safe and smart for a global networked future. With profession and teamwork culture, we design innovative aircraft systems and respond quickly to ongoing changes in the emerging aviation industry. Therefore, we aim to reinforce our engineering team – on the ground and in the sky – within the field of software technology and autonomous flight.

Your tasks:
• Detailed modelling and 3D design of the SKEYE UAV with the CAD Software Creo
• Derivation of drawings for production and manufacturing
• Elaboration of ply books for structural components according to the engineering specifications
• Drawing and 3D design of the wiring harness
• Design of non-structural components such as fairings

Your profile:
• Passion for aviation and innovative aircraft design
• Experience in aircraft modelling is an advantage
• Experience in the CAD software, knowledge in “Creo Parametric” in an advantage
• Enthusiastic about working in interdisciplinary and international working environment
• Completed training as technical draftsman
• Good English skills spoken and written, German or French is an advantage
