About the Role – It is a Melbourne based assignment that will allow suitable resources to work remotely from Sydney, Brisbane, WA and Adelaide.

As a Frontend ReactJs Engineer, you will join an experienced Agile team and reach your full potential by developing innovative products with cutting-edge cloud and micro-services technologies.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, review, implement, and manage React.js application code and services for the production and pre-release environments;
  • Design, develop, review, implement, and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any code as required;
  • Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build scalable microservices-based products;
  • Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this;
  • Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and tooling;
  • Provide robust coding practices, solid unit/component test coverage, and debugging code.

Your skills & qualifications:

Demonstrated experience using a combination of the following:

ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, NodeJS, NPM, Yarn, GraphQL, Jest, JSON, Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, VSCode/IntelliJ, Maven/Gradle, Junit, GIT

  • Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservice architectures, Data structures, OOP principles, RDBMS

Must have:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in Software Development;
  • Experience/ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Hands on Experience, knowledge and understanding of CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience in Microservices architecture and design – able to understand the business needs/requirements and translate these requirements into well-designed solutions
  • Experience building front end using Reactjs and Typescript
  • Solid nodejs server experience, i.e. expressjs, typeorm
  • Experience with front end testing frameworks
  • Experience working with cloud and container environments
  • Experience to review/data in order to perform basic analysis – write/use SQL, compare/verify data)
  • Able to guide, mentor and train more junior members of the team
  • Good skills in time and resource management
