An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the innovative Neurosurgery team based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This post is full-time, non-resident Clinical Fellow (ST3 level or above).

The department has extensive experience in general and specialist Neurosurgical conditions.  This includes Brain Stem and Pituitary surgery, Neuro-oncology, Paediatric neurosurgery, Spinal surgery, Trigeminal neuralgia and nerve compression syndromes, Peripheral nerve injury and general Neurosurgery as well as forming part of the Major Trauma Centre.

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary has a strong track record in international training courses. There will also be an opportunity to develop skills in teaching during these courses.

Applicants should have completed general professional training and hold the MRCS or equivalent of one of the Royal Colleges in the UK or hold an equivalent qualification and have experience in Neurosurgery.

This post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
