MAINLY MARKETING…… (but lots of other things too!)

We are a small Grantham based company selling our products nationally to the Builder/Construction/Architect industries and we need someone with marketing experience to help us improve our exposure.

You would be responsible for everything to do with our Marketing including (but not limited to) our website, writing and proofreading creative copy for print and online content, creating and positioning print ads in national magazines, creating new brochures, helping design and organise stands for national exhibitions (working on the stands during the exhibitions too), all our social media, SEO and Google ads and analytics. And, if that’s not enough, the “lots of other things too” include everything else that matters to a small company, basically helping out when needed.

So in a nutshell we are looking for someone that has:

· Good interpersonal skills

· Good, creative writing style

· Self-motivated

· Good attention to detail

· Proficient with using social media

· Confident manner

· Marketing experience desirable

· Ability to use the Adobe Suite, especially InDesign

· Working knowledge of Google Analytics

· Flexible nature and willing to take on new tasks

Essential Characteristics

Creative – Must be able to identify and create on brand marketing materials

Organised – This role requires an organised individual to be able to complete various tasks to the appropriate standard

Motivated – The role is very varied and can very often involve thinking on your feet and working at a fast pace. The candidate may be required to research and deliver new initiatives with no current processes to work within so self-motivation is essential.

It’s a hands on job and requires creativity, flexibility, personality, dedication, attention to detail, presence, good phone manner, willingness to learn and as much marketing experience as possible.
