Full Job Description
Support operations from the standpoint of security guard service. Support all departments by assisting with special projects and data entry as needed to drive improvement. .This position reports as needed. This is a night shift position that would report when fulltime staff is unavailable to work.
TO BE CONSIDERED AN APPLICANT FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST SHOW HOW YOU MEET THE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AS OUTLINED IN THE REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure security requirements are met throughout the plant by making documented rounds inside and outside of the facility, including the Retail Store.
- Be able to walk extensively, some climbing required.
- Be able to read and understand tolerances established by Russell Stover Chocolates, for specific items and recognize deviations from those tolerances.
- Be able to handle potential emergency situations, remain calm during such situations, and notify appropriate plant personnel of the situation.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls and make telephone transfers.
- Assistant with special projects and data entry as needed.
- Assigns registers, distribute security badges and balance badges daily.
- Track phone calls. Assist employees with various HR related forms.
- Keep call in sheets accurate. Conforms to rules.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience a plus, but not required.
- Excellent written, observational, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision. Extensive amount of independent thinking is required.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications required. (Excel, data entry, spreadsheets.)
Preferred Qualifications
2 Years Manufacturing Experience
Security guard training certification preferred.
