About Business Services
Business Services provides a full range of class leading information technology, facilities management, finance, HR and health and safety services to all operation entities of the University.

Campus Management incorporates Property & Leasing Management, Enterprise spatial analytics and Space Planning & Management functions, seeking to optimize the allocation of all University spaces. Campus Management delivers efficient, sustainable, competitive, innovative and safe campus facilities.

About the Role
As a Real Estate Administrator, you are responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support. You will have the opportunity to meet and work with diverse stakeholders across all campus and clinical sites in the management of the University’s Real Estate Portfolio.You will learn and manage lease and database management for property management and leasing matters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support of operational services to the real estate & leasing portfolio under a broad direction
  • Effective administration services including supporting lease-related documentation and arranging meetings
  • Assist in preparing Heads of Agreement documents (under the guidance of the Real Estate team) that protect the University’s interests and demonstrate corporate responsibility and probity
  • Contribute to the safe custody of Certificates of Title; executed leases, licences and other agreements; and bank guarantees for rental

About You
To be successful in this role, you need to have effective verbal and written communication skills and a mindset for continuous improvement. You also need to be customer-focused, which will enable you to provide exceptional service to stakeholders at all levels. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to accept constructive feedback are also essential for success in the role.

You will also have:

  • Experience in a similar administration role
  • Demonstrated ability to organize the work of self and others in a manner that maximises the achievement of results
  • Experience in property industry is desirable but not necessary
