We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Senior Manager for Community Partnerships, Employability and Skills to take a leading role in ensuring ALSS engages with other LBHF external partners to develop a comprehensive Community, Partnership and Employment skills programme, incorporating Skills for Life (English, Maths, ESOL English for Speakers of Other Languages), Family Learning and Special Educational Needs (SEN) programmes to maximise funding in line with its priorities and objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for leading the Adult Learning and Skills Service Engagement, Partnership and Employment Skills team and ensuring it performs to a high standard.
  • Leading, managing and maintaining the MATRIX quality assurance process for the service.
  • Working in collaboration with the Service and external partners, such as Volunteer centre, National Careers Service, Job Centre Plus, to develop and manage the services CIAG strategy and ensure it meets the requirements of the service and complies with MATRIX quality standards.
  • Leading on the service response to employer engagement (with LBHF as a major partner, including HR & Talent and H&F Works). Liaising with senior colleagues to ensure the agreed response is delivered.

Role Specific Qualifications:

  • Degree and/or relevant teaching qualification.

 

Additionally:

  • Experience of managing a diverse team.
  • Experience and evidence of successful Community Development and partnership working.
  • Experience and evidence of planning and managing curriculum programmes.
  • Evidence of understanding of the Education Inspection Framework and ability to contribute to quality improvement strategies.
  • Evidence of understanding and or leading a MATRIX inspection.
