Shopify Developer

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer who is familiar with the Shopify platform to:

• Create for both bespoke development and current Shopify templates.
• Convert specifications and mock-ups into workable solutions.
• Modify and update existing sites to include new features and improve UI/UX design.
• Create and test third-party Shopify applications. Create and customise Shopify accounts.

Responsibilities:

• To increase sales and revenue, create an engaging and knowledgeable online Shopify store.
• Create custom Shopify themes and modify pre-existing templates in accordance with pre-defined brand guidelines.
• Know everything there is to know about the ECommerce platform.
• Collaborate with the UX and UI Design Teams to create distinct, powerful, and inventive front-end user experiences.
• To optimise the shop’s overall efficiency and functionality, ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps.
• Websites should be tested and debugged on a regular basis to improve performance.
• Based on their findings, they provide technical support and coordination, thereby protecting businesses from failure.
• Improve your website’s conversion rates by optimising it.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience of at least two years is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a closely related field is required.
• Broad knowledge of shop construction, launch, and maintenance, as well as a general understanding of the administration system.
• Working knowledge of Shopify’s theming system and Liquid templating.
• Abilities for extensive testing and debugging using the browser console and other tools.
• Prior experience creating responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices is preferred.
• Knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins, is required.
• Capability to effectively communicate and provide proactive feedback.
