1.0 JOB DESCRIPTION

1.1 Carry out preventive/routine and reactive maintenance of Plant & Machinery

1.2 Awareness of Standards / SOPs.

2.0 JOB ROLE

1. Follow all safety rules, cardinal rules BBS compliance. Follow work permit system.

2. Maintain 5 S on Shop floor and on workplace where work in plant. Cleaning of minor oil leakage in

hydraulic machines and workshop area

3. work area should be clear of with unwanted material and tools once completed the job

4. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirement

5. Operate angle grinder to prepare the parts that must be welded

6. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical,

horizontal or overhead)

7. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps

8. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws

9. Welding job on MS SS flange joints pipes and structures

10. Carried out all jobs as per standard operating procedure which include safety aspect

11. Pre inspection of tools and tackles before starting the job.

3.0 Competency / Requirements

3.1 Technical

3.1.1 Determine the kind of tools and tackles required to carry the job given

3.1.2 ITI with 3 to 4 years or Non-ITI with 5 to 6 years of experience

3.2 Functional

3.2.1 Awareness about standards of M/s Vedanta.

3.2.2 Awareness of 5S, KAIZEN, Quality circle and other development initiatives

3.3 Behavioural

3.3.1 Punctuality

3.3.2 Team Player

3.3.3 Responsive

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED3,162.92 – AED4,518.46 per month
