As an IT Systems Administrator you will:
- Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
- Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.

A week in the life of an IT Systems Administrator:
- Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
- Set up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
- Coordinate installation and provides backup recovery.
- Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $62,000.. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
- Experience administrating Windows Server, VMware ESXi and Linux
- High School Diploma Required.
- Security+ certification or equivalent
