Area Sales Manager – Scotland – Haircare
The role of the Sales Consultant: As an Area Sales Manager you are tasked with supporting 2 Sales Consultants who report in to you as well as generating new business on your BD day. You will be required to be out in the field 4 days per week (2 with each report) and 1 day on your own to source your own customers. Majority of the customers you will target will be small chains, independent hair salons and colleges. You will need to be very hands on and be able to guide and mentor your reports as well as lead by example by being involved in Business Development.
Requirements for the Area Sales Manager role:
- 2 Years+ Key Account Management or Sales Management experience
- An interest in haircare and hair products
- Be able to organise and map out territories
- Proven track record in new business
The company the Area Sales Manager will be joining: My client is a family-owned Irish business. They focus heavily on their clients and ensuring they are satisfied. They thoroughly educate each salon on products and the best way to use them (this is also done on an ongoing basis) which makes them unique in the industry. Everyone at the business is very much all hands on deck and everyone mucks in as they all want to be part of making the business as successful as possible. During your first few weeks as an Area Sales Manager you will be accompanied in the field by both the MD and Sales Director to support as much as they can.
Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager:
- Basic Up between £40k-£50k
- 1% commission paid on revenue (paid monthly)
- 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
- Fully expensed petrol hybrid car + fuel card

Location of the Area Sales Manager: With the patch covering Scotland, ideally you will be based in the central belt however travel all over Scotland will be required.
