A well-established cafe/restaurant based in Auckland CBD is looking for suitable candidates for the
role of Cafe Assistants.
You will be rostered to work at least 30 hours per week. The pay rate will be based on experience, skills and/or knowledge, ranging from $25 to $28 per hour.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
– Delivering outstanding customer service
Taking customers’ food and beverage orders
Recommending food options
Operating cash register and taking payment
Preparing beverages
Serving food and beverages
Clearing and setting tables
Providing assistance in the kitchen with basic food preparation and dishwashing.
Keeping the cafe clean and presentable and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working quickly and efficiently in a quality cafe environment would be preferred
Proven customer service experience
Able to work on the weekends
Good communication skills
