We are offering you

  • We offer a competitive hourly rate $25-28 for the Chef’s Assistants, good work/life balance with flexible working conditions and other benefits.
  • The hours will be full time from Mondays to Sunday on shift. Weekly hours will be at least 40 hours and maximum at 50 hours.
  • We also provide staff meals, dining discount and training.

Main duties of the Chefs Assistant:

  • Washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving
  • Cutting and grinding meat, poultry and seafood in preparation for cooking Weighing and measuring ingredients and refilling the sauces and seasonings in advance
  • Cleaning the pans and pots and general utensils like plates and bowls used in the kitchen and restaurant
  • Daily Kitchen Cleaning and ensuring food and hygiene standards according to Food Control Plan
  • Monitor the stocks and give feedback
  • Packing food and beverage trays for serving

Requirements for the Chef’s Assistant:

  • No prior experience nor qualification required but would be an advantage if you have experience in this industry.
  • On-the-job training will be provided if you are the right one.
  • A reliable, friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner, especially in a fast-paced environment. Excellent food hygiene skills and strong focus.
  • Long-term commitment required.

Salary: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
