Canon UK are looking for 2 Contracts Specialists working within the commerical team.

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for creating and supporting the flow of complex contracts and key agreements across our organisation supporting sales driving the business short and midterm plans.

The role will support in the management our contractual relationship and support our sales engagement with the respective framework agreements and master contracts and relevant business done under these through building and maintaining processes and strong contract governance processes.

The role will support contractual negotiations for large or complex deals, ensuring consistent governance across all deals negotiated by sales and support the Commercial Manager and Head of Commercial Operations taking direct responsibility to negotiate contracts with customers

What we ask

 

  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and relationships with key contracts and agreements across our business and end customers
  • Support the respective Sales leads in the day-to-day management of the framework agreements and master contracts
  • Assist to develop data analysis, reporting and associated requirements to best position Canon as the partner of choice
  • To support the business with designing the strategies and actions needed to develop the customer relationship within the respective framework / master contracts
  • To assist in ad-hoc reporting on selected frameworks and accounts and to assist in their planning for targeting specific accounts.
  • Capture of the customer requirements, identifying opportunities for improved performance, productivity and efficiency within Canon and building strong relationships with end customers
  • Build and maintain relevant information to stay ahead of the competition and remain up to date with the industry and customer market
  • Develop a clear understanding of our competitor’s routes to market and hold insight that assist the business with strategic planning
  • Create contractual amends to our contracts in conjunction with Legal and Commercial Operations team
  • Maintain the relevant Company database / sales databases on a regular basis as required by local policy. Create and maintain “Agreement and Contract Sales Guides” for the business.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with cross functional delivery teams.
  • To work on “ad-hoc” project requests with the Head of Commercial Operations and Commercial Manager, sourcing, summarizing, analyzing, distributing business information.
