Peterborough Virtual School have an exciting and rare opening for a full-time, experienced education professional to join their staff.
You will ensure that care experienced children, of secondary school age, have a high quality, aspirational education which meets the holistic needs of the child in a safe environment and relationally driven culture.
You will have up to date knowledge of the secondary education system, recent experience of working in a school or virtual school, and an understanding of issues pertinent to the education of care experienced children, including knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and practice.
You will be responsible for building relationships with key partners including colleagues within Peterborough Virtual School, Designated Teachers, carers and social workers.
You will be confident at communicating effectively, efficient, organised and be able to work using your own initiative within a wider team.
You will be joining an experienced, caring, supportive and committed team. We are, in line with team expectations, able to offer you the ability to work flexibly.
