Full Job Description

    • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
    • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks

    • Plan and design plant layouts and facilities
    • Conduct studies and implement programs to determine optimum inventory levels and optimum utilization of machinery, materials and resources
    • Analyze costs of production
    • Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs
    • Assess industrial facilities
    • Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards
    • Develop performance standards, evaluation systems and wage and incentive programs
