Main missions of the Reporting team:
Be the referent of KPIs and have expertise on the rules for calculating indicators (sales, customers, marketing, etc.)
Build performance management and analysis tools for the various departments
The reporting team handles the business needs of all departments with 3 operating modes:
The need is included in the IS project roadmap
The need was not planned and concerns only a Data aspect
The need is strictly internal to Data
This call for tender only refers to the end-to-end support of unplanned Data needs, more particularly on the Reporting component.
The role of the consultant will be to take charge of requests for studies, reporting or data visualization and therefore to:
Participate in or organize business workshops to collect and analyze needs integrating data discovery phases
Design and present solutions before committing them
If necessary, develop flows to collect data missing from the base, in POC mode. The industrialization of flows will be supported by a dedicated team
If necessary, develop the flows to calculate the KPIs missing from the catalog
Develop and deploy reports/dashboard in agile mode
Support the business in the validation phase
He/she will be in direct contact with all the professions without intermediaries and must be able to deliver the expected flows/studies/dashboards. He/she will have to challenge the needs and be proactive in the expected solutions. He/she will be assigned a portfolio of requests and must be able to organize his workload according to his commitments and the availability of his interlocutors. He/she must have an agile approach, namely delivering by iteration and favoring a prototyping-type approach.
He/she must therefore be able to interact with different populations and adapt his speech according to his audience (technical with the other members of the Data delegation, functional with the professions). Our businesses can produce studies and dashboards in self-service, they do not need us to handle simple needs. We therefore expect the consultant to be able to provide expertise in the visuals or messages delivered (see story telling). For this, experience in the use of a data visualization tool is absolutely necessary. We use ARRAY.
Profiles:
Skills based on BI in particular on the reporting part (KPI, report, etc.) with experience on data visualization tools, in particular Tableau software
Experience in setting up streams, the objective being to be able to set up and schedule processes to calculate and store aggregates
Interpersonal skills as well as good writing skills, the consultant must be able to synthesize and popularize their point
Autonomous, methodical and organized, he/she knows how to work well in a team, and has good analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
