Design engineer (m/f/d)
Full-time 38.5 hours/week
Your tasks
You are part of the development team for our devices along with the electronics developers, the PCB layout designers and many more.
For new products, you bring mechanical and thermal aspects into the development from the very first concept discussion and construct model parts in the CAD program SolidWorks, such as coil formers and housings in 3D.
In the development phase, simulations are part of your toolkit so that you can subject new ideas to a reality check right away.
For existing products, you are responsible in particular for the evaluation and implementation of requested changes.
Whether old or new – in any case, you always keep an eye on the requirements of our product and DFM and develop cost-optimized solutions for them.
You are in demand – for our supply chain management, production or our quality management, you are a very valued contact when it comes to questions about the specification or the technically possible areas of application of our parts.

A solid basis for your specialist knowledge is a successfully completed engineering degree in the field of mechatronics or a comparable field of study.
In addition, you already have professional experience in product development. You are very familiar with (electromechanical) components and working with CAD software.

It does not work? Doesn’t exist for you, because you actively accept new tasks and mechanical challenges. So that it all comes together, or in our case a suitable product design, you work in a solution-oriented and planned manner until you reach your goal.
Working in an international team is not a problem for you, because you discuss and email with colleagues fluently in German and English.
Sounds complex? Only at first. Because the department is at your side for the content. Your main task is to capture all relevant content in the right places. You will gradually grow into the position and gradually help shape the content.
Our location on Wienerberg is just a few minutes’ walk from Meidling train station. There is a parking space for drivers. The collectively agreed minimum salary for this position is €49,952 gross p.a.; Depending on experience and qualifications, overpayment is possible.
