We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Doha for a: Marine Mechanical Assistant Technician Job Purpose: This position is a unique opportunity to be responsible for repair and maintain equipment, run diagnostics, and identify problems. Manage a repair department, perform preventative work, and follow safety protocols. Your main duties will be to: Trouble shooting, maintaining, repairing and overhauling large size pumps, diesel engines, generators, compressors, blowers, piping maintenance and the like. Ideally you will have Diploma / Degree or ICT in Mechanical / Marine with a minimum experience of 03 Years in in oil and gas Industry or with Major utilities as a Mechanical Technician, Perform minor mechanical repairs. Familiar with material specifications, bearings, fasteners, P&ID, Piping Isometric drawings and the like Familiar with hand tools, fasteners and other similar equipment. Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken in English. You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
