Are you passionate about creating high impact value propositions, built on customer insight, that really connect with B2B customers? Are you experienced at driving brand awareness and delivering successful demand generation campaigns? If the answer is yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Working within the Document Print & Solutions (DP&S) marketing department you will own the development and delivery of key customer propositions that maximise relevance and awareness of Canon’s award-winning print and information management portfolio within the Commercial customer segments. You will then turn these propositions into integrated brand awareness and demand generation programmes that deliver high quality pipeline – and work closely with Sales to ensure optimal conversion rates through successful leveraging of marketing tools and messages throughout the buying and sales cycle.

As Customer Marketing Specialist on a day to day basis you will:

  • Create and manage specific, targeted customer value propositions, built on insight from customer research and market intelligence.
  • Create impactful and compelling customer-facing content for all stages of the buying cycle.
  • Deliver integrated campaigns that drive Canon brand awareness and leads into target segments.
  • Accelerate leads through the pipeline by working closely with Sales to leverage all available Marketing tools and tactics.
  • Own a well-established calendar of high profile online and offline events.
  • Manage key industry body relationships to gather customer and market insight, and drive brand awareness and demand generation.

You will use your strong communication and storytelling skills to train the wider Marketing department and Sales teams in how to effectively articulate the propositions.

 

What we ask

 

As the B2B Customer Marketing Specialist you will possess the following skills and expertise:

  • Some previous experience delivering customer marketing programmes and developing propositions for particular segments (vertical, persona etc.).
  • A proven track record of delivering commercial success, leads and campaign ROI within a B2B marketing environment.
  • Project and event management experience.
  • A Marketing qualification is preferred.
  • A full driving licence required as travel will be expected.
  • You will use your strong communication and storytelling skills to train the wider Marketing department and Sales teams in how to effectively articulate the propositions.

 

You will need

 

As the B2B Customer Marketing Specialist you will possess the following skills and expertise:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a passion for storytelling and modern marketing
  • A collaborative working style and team mentality to engage your sales and marketing colleagues in the development and implementation of programmes.
  • An ability to identify actionable insights from customer data, trends and interactions that can be used to augment proposition cut through and effectiveness, and new business opportunities.

Salary – Salary – £40,115 up to £47,682 + bonus depending on experience.

Location – Stockley Park Uxbridge
This role is a hybrid working role based out of Canon UK’s Head Office in Uxbridge.
