Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Initiate and assist with analysis on reliability performance data to identify areas of opportunity
Key member of site loss & waste program, focusing on the elimination of major recurring equipment issues
Analyse downtime and CMMS data routinely, identifying opportunities for process & reliability improvement
Lead and participate in root cause analysis investigations to eliminate major failure causes
Support the maintenance planner with the development of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for improved reliability
Design, scope and implement solutions to a variety of technical problems across the mechanical engineering discipline
Work alongside the Maintenance Trades team to ensure effective execution of maintenance works
Develop short and long-term reliability strategies that to deliver performance and cost objectives
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or mechanical trade qualification
Previous experience in reliability improvement role
Related industry experience, preferably within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry but not essential
Strong experience in preventative and predictive maintenance
Experience in reliability improvement processes such as RCA, equipment criticality and FMEA
Exposure to lean principles for continuous improvement
Ability to communicate well to different stakeholders across all levels of the business
Effective decision making and problem solving capabilities
