Job title: Mental Health Adviser, Part time, 28 hours per week

Salary: £38,141 to £41,307 (Pro-Rata) pa inclusive of London Weighting

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Mental Health Adviser to join our vibrant Wellbeing team within the Student Support Department. The purpose of the Student Support service is to support student retention, achievement and satisfaction by providing a range of services to enhance student wellbeing and ensure that all students have access to a range of support appropriate to their needs. The Wellbeing Team encompasses student advice and guidance, counselling and mental health intervention. The aim is to ensure that services are visible, effective and tailored to the needs of our student community. The Service makes a key contribution to the University’s mission to support all students, whatever their background, to reach their full potential.

The Mental Health Adviser is responsible for the coordination and management of mental health related student cases. The role involves managing a complex caseload and supporting students who are high risk. We are looking for someone who is passionate, motivated and a team-player.
