About you
The Proactive and Embedded Wellbeing Support Team Lead will work across LSBU and sits within Student Wellbeing Team, reporting to the Head of Wellbeing.
The post holder will work in close collaboration with students, the Mental Health & Wellbeing advisers and manager, DDS, LSBU Active, Halls of Residence, the Student Union, academics and external collaborators (particularly QAA embedded mental wellbeing working group) to promote proactive, embedded and inclusive wellbeing interventions for students.
The post holder will be a champion for proactive support, identifying areas of best practice and areas for development across the institution, and contributing to the delivery of training and resources related to the academic skills framework.
The post holder will hold a critical role in the promotion of inclusive and proactive whole population interventions and improving the student experience, and will also work with students to understand their experiences of wellbeing and work in coproduction to improve provision.
The skills and experience you will need to be successful
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent qualifications/ experience.
- Additional training or group intervention qualification or experience is desirable
- Demonstrates knowledge of emotional and mental health promotions and willing to develop additional expertise
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of designing, delivering and evaluating training
- Experience of establishing and building relationships with colleagues across a large complex organisation
