Project Engineer

• Local projects across Hunter Valley & Newcastle
• Roads, Subdivisions, Rail, Mining, Bridges and Local Council Projects.
• Salary reflective of experience, $110K – 180K + Super + Car

Due to a continual trend of winning projects across the region, a leading Civil Contractor is looking for Project Engineers and Project Managers to join their successful operations across the Newcastle/ Hunter Valley region. You will be working on a range of projects such as Roads, Mining, subdivisions and local council works.

The role:

As the Project Engineer or Project Manager you will report through to the Project Manager or Senior PM to coordinate on-site civil Infrastructure works.

• Maintain QA & WHS protocols
• Assist in the preparation of Project Management Plans, with both the Safety team and the Project Manager
• Develop and maintain construction programs
• Review scope of works and allocate personnel accordingly
• Maintain budget requirements and assist with management of costs
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and drive team productivity

About you:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have demonstrated capacity and knowledge of the Civil Infrastructure sector, additionally you will have the following qualifications & experience,

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Project knowledge of Subdivisions, Roads and Mining
• Strong work ethic and a positive team member
• Ability to built strong internal and external relationships
