Responsibilities:

We are searching for a talented Technical Project Manager to become part of Peraton’s Citizens Security & Public Services, State and Local West account. This position will be Olympia, Washington.
What you’ll do:
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
  • The focus of this project management role is to ensure completion of computer platform (infrastructure) projects and work efforts on time, within allocated resources, of high quality within scope. This can be viewed as ensuring that the project sponsor is satisfied with the outcome of the project. To meet this goal, project management negotiates and facilitates development of the work packages and schedules, the scope, and the resource requirements and commitments for each work effort or project. This is an on-premises
  • Organize, plan and facilitate the work efforts and projects necessary to ensure that the ACES Complex applications systems hardware and software become and remain current and functional.
  • Identify necessary dependencies among DSHS and Bidder teams to comprehend the team contributions and effort needed to successfully deliver computer platform projects and Negotiate and enforce resource commitments from dependent teams.
  • Track and communicate work efforts and project progress, risks and issues form and format that is acceptable to DSHS.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 10 years of experience
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience managing infrastructure projects with a successful track
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical projects.
  • Good knowledge of distributed server environments, support tools and technologies, and IT service management process
  • Experience with MS Project and able to develop MS Project Sechedule
Desired Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification preferred

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid: $145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
