A leading oil and gas company in the UAE.

Job Description:

• Welding procedure and welder qualification shall be interpreted as defined ASME Sec IX.
• Welding procedure for ladder and platform structure, handrail and other shall comply with AWS D 1.1.
• Verify that plates thicker than 40mm shall be normalized or quench tempered, killed, made to fine-grain practice, and impact tested.
• Review of QA/QC documentation submitted by the refurbishment contractor and any other design documentation to ensure that design and work is in line with requirements of the SOW and international standards
• Prepare Inspection & Test Plan in accordance with International Codes & Standards/client contract
• Attend Construction & Mechanical Completion walk-downs and raise/close associated punch lists.
• Prepare inspection completion trackers for System and Sub-system completion based on P&ID drawings which contain Mechanical Equipment, Structural Steel, Piping, and Piping test packages.
• Prepare Field change documentation/notification (FCN) and as-built documentation as required.
• Identifying and recording quality problems and accordingly issuing project Non-Conformity Reports.
• Raise Technical Query / Waiver / Request for Information & Prepare Quality Flyer.
