ALL ABOARD for Australia’s biggest public transport project in Sydney which includes the design, construction and commissioning of:

  • Major rail systems in the new twin 15km Sydney Metro tunnels from Chatswood to Sydenham
  • The expansion of the existing Sydney Metro Trains Facility at Rouse Hill and delivery of the new Sydney Metro Trains Facility South at Mauriceville; and
  • Tunnel ventilation, mechanical and electrical systems for seven underground stations, and power systems for the Sydenham to Bankstown section.

We are currently seeking applications from Experienced Electricians to join our growing team on the METRONET Line Wide Project in Sydney. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your career with a dynamic and growing company, who has a key and unique value to “Be Like No Other”. This role will be based in Sydney and is an initial 6 week++ opportunity with the potential of further work as SIMPEC expands its operations on the eastern seaboard and beyond. Get on board now!! You will require the following qualifications and competencies and ideally have experience working on construction or large infrastructure projects previously:

  • Trade Certified and Rail experienced Electrician
  • NSW Electrical License
  • RIW certification
  • HRWL
  • Confined Space
  • WAH
  • LV CPR
  • First Aid

The EA site conditions, rates and allowances on this ground-breaking project are second to none and include but are not limited to:

  • 50+ hours per week (may include night shift)
  • Weekend penalties
  • $52.85 per hour – Ordinary Rate
  • $26.50 per day – Travel Allowance
  • $6.25 per hour – Infrastructure Allowance
  • $16.83 – Daily Fares
  • $112.50 – Weekly severance paid into the Protect Industry Fund
  • Accommodation and LAFHA provided to successful interstate candidates
