The Regional Media and Communications Advisor develops, implements, and monitors communication strategies and activities across the Gippsland region, provides advice and direction to internal stakeholders, and engages with external stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships.
The role is part of the Community and Partnerships Team which facilitates the delivery of climate change adaptation, energy and local government programs in the region, including grant programs, as well as media and communications activities, indigenous inclusion and other community focused programs.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Qualifications and / or experience related to media, communications, stakeholder and community engagement is desirable.
- Video and multimedia skills (including editing) are desirable.
This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2023. The work location for this position is flexible within Gippsland, Victoria, with hybrid work arrangements available.
