About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join UnitingSA’s Aged Care team at Hawksbury Gardens as our Registered Nurse. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic team focused on achieving positive community outcomes and has a passion for providing quality resident centred care. The role is offered on a casual basis.
What will you be doing?
Working collaboratively with the Nursing team, you will be responsible for identifying the health needs of residents and determine the appropriate nursing care, along with administering and documenting resident medications and prescribed treatment. You will also provide support, empathy, respect and understanding towards residents to ensure their emotional and wellbeing needs are met. As a Registered Nurse, your role includes providing supervision and support to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Attendants.
About You:
You will demonstrate a positive and professional “can-do” attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work as a member of a team or autonomously when needed. You must have a minimum Bachelor of Nursing and hold current AHPRA registration.
The successful candidate will hold a current National Police Clearance and provide evidence of up to date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations.
