Waranga Health, located in Rushworth, is a 36-bed aged-care facility, inclusive of a four-bed acute care unit, a district nursing service, outpatient ambulatory consulting services and a dedicated palliative care suite and respite bed. Care and treatment are provided 24 hours a day by a talented multidisciplinary team across a range of medical, nursing and allied health services.

About the role
An opportunity exists for motivated individuals to join Waranga Health at Rushworth as Registered Nurses. The Registered Nurses are responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a team environment. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility of clinical care and after hours management in the absence of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Unit Manager.
We are looking for
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision
- Previous experience in aged care is desirable

Appointments to this role are also subject to satisfactory Victorian ‘Employee’ Working with Children’s Checks. Completion of a Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration is required prior to commencement.
