Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager (with Hotel Sales Experience)
An ideal position for someone who is involved in the Hotel/Travel Industry in the Region, currently and very well connected to the leisure segment.
Salary: AED10,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
- Develop, organize and implement strategic sales & marketing activities for the respective Account.
- Manage, establish and strengthen relationships with the travel trade in the GCC region.
- Generate and simulate bookings and reservations (FIT & Groups) for the account by maintaining relation with travel trade and corporate segments
- Conduct joint or individual sales calls with the travel trade, airlines and corporate throughout the GCC for each respective account on a monthly basis
- Organize and participate in Trade & Consumer Fairs throughout the GCC for each respective account
- Organize and participate in Workshops & Roadshows throughout the GCC for each account
- In conjunction with the respective Destination’s Tourism Authorities/Hotel Groups, develop and organize Educational trips to the destinations for the local travel trade throughout the Middle East
- In conjunction with the respective Destination’s Tourism Authorities develop and organize Familiarization trips, Press and Media trips for the account for the local travel trade throughout the GCC
- Negotiate and monitor coverage for each respective account throughout the GCC from the trade publication and securing them to be featured in their brochures
- Develop, organize and participate in joint promotional activities with the local travel trade and brands for each respective account
- Conduct Account and Product training with the travel trade throughout the Middle East
- Conduct Presentations to Consumer Groups
- Organize Consumer events
- Monitor the allocated budget for each respective account
- Research and keep up to date with the latest trends within the travel industry, the city of Dubai, the GCC as well as the account’s competitors.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for the account and the management
- Liaise with the relevant Tourism Authorities to recommend new initiatives and obtain approvals
- Plan and attend a monthly Conference Call for the account
- Maintain excellent client relationships through professional conduct at all times
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality of all client information.

Skills

- have the ability to develop and drive new accounts and business.
- Must have previous hotel sales experience and holds a valid UAE driving license.
