An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Senior Management Accountant working as part of the Acute and Corporate Support Services team in Financial Management. You will cover a high profile Directorate (Women and Childrens Services, including Labs and Diagnostics, and Medical, Nursing and Pharmacy corporate areas) and will provide direct support to the Senior Finance Manager. They will be responsible for the provision of financial management support to Acute General Managers and Assistant General Managers across the Directorate. You will also manage a team of 2.
You must have experience of working within Management Accounts, have a full understanding and working knowledge of financial ledger packages.
The postholder must be proficient in all Microsoft packages, but in particular Excel and Office.
Educated to a minimum of degree level, and/or a qualified accountant, or have relevant senior experience the postholder must be an excellent communicator and team player.
