Software Engineering Manager

We’ve partnered with a market-leading manufacturing company in the Syracuse NY area. They’re currently looking for a Software Engineering Manager to provide onsite, technical leadership to a small team of engineers.

Summary: As the leader of a software team; you’d be hands-on in the design, implementation and maintenance of embedded controls and firmware related projects.

Core focus areas: Coding in embedded C for new products and for the maintenance of existing products, Software documentation, Code reviews, Unit and Integration Testing, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline.

-Demonstrated experience managing a team of engineers OR acting as a Team Lead throughout the SDLC.

-Extensive experience needed in embedded software development in C or C++.

-Ability to perform as a hands-on, technical leader.

-Excellent communicator and a passion for developing new technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
