Employment Requirements

A Tertiary qualification in civil engineering which will qualify for membership as a registered Professional Engineer.
Clear understanding of engineering principles.
Ability to undertake investigations and make well-founded recommendations for the adoption of solutions from a range of researched options based on previous experience and guidance
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, including technical issues with all levels of staff and members of the public.
The ability to plan priorities, set deadlines and achieve objectives within budget and timetable for one’s workload.
Proficiency in the use and broad knowledge of computer applications.
Willingness to contribute towards engineering solutions for a wide variety of municipal projects within a dynamic team
