We are seeking an innovative Brand and Campaign Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The role reports to the Director (Marketing) and is responsible for developing and implementing results-driven marketing and brand activation initiatives to enhance UniSQ’s brand and drive prospective student engagement, preference, and applications.

You will lead a team of marketing, advertising and brand specialists who value collaboration and teamwork and have built strong partnerships across the University, to design and deliver the go-to-market framework and ensure the effective management and optimisation of marketing activities.

You will be an exceptional communicator with a natural ability to proactively manage multiple cross functional stakeholders and influence decisions on our marketing and brand strategy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing the planning, creation and delivery of an integrated brand and recruitment marketing go-to-market strategy for UniSQ.
  • Leading the performance, optimisation, reporting and ROI of all online and offline campaign and marketing initiatives, to drive customer engagement and conversions.
  • Optimising the marketing spend and personalisation efforts, to drive a greater return on investment and a robust view of channel performance.
  • Working cross functionally and with external agency partners to ensure campaign targets are defined and effective benchmarks established for key activities.
  • Developing and utilising detailed audience behavioural insights, customer journey and experience plans, to optimise all brand and recruitment campaign performance.
  • Managing creative, media and digital agency partnerships, with strong strategic and tactical contributions to UniSQ marketing and brand objectives.
  • Growing and utilising relationships with key internal stakeholders, while managing expectations and course promotion performance.
  • Leading our enthusiastic and high achieving brand and campaigns team, ensuring optimal performance, support, and cohesion.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related discipline (advertising, brand, or communications), with extensive relevant, demonstrated performance marketing and management experience, or a combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Extensive experience in marketing and advertising across digital and non-digital channels, with a strong understanding of brand and reputation marketing, including how to apply brand governance across all channels and assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated creative and marketing plans for complex product types, utilising multiple online and offline channels.
  • Experience working with media, digital and creative agencies, having delivered complex brand and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in organisational brand management, including brand strategy, visual identity guidelines and brand architecture.
  • Experience with marketing data management and dashboard platforms and tools (Google, Adobe, PowerBI etc).
  • Demonstrated financial and budget management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently organise and manage a wide variety of complex tasks and projects to meet conflicting priorities and deadlines and achieve high quality strategic outcomes.
  • Strong cross functional stakeholder management and ability to influence decision making.
  • Strong presentation, influencing and communication skills.
  • Experience managing high performing teams, staff development, and participation in positive and successful organisation wide objectives.
