Your tasks
Perform predefined experiments for various chips and wafer technologies using acoustic-emission testing platform for POAA (Probe-Over-Active-Area) robustness qualifications
Execute experiments with advanced probing technologies (MEMS, vertical, low-force of different supplies) covering probe mark evaluations, contact resistance, high current and contact force characterization on test platforms
2D & 3D optical inspections of wafers, pads or probe needles
Perform data analysis (statistical data mining, graphical data post-processing)
Create and present reports to internal and external customers in English
Support regular mandatory tasks according to lab certification rules for example, ESD tests, instrument and material inventory, safety checks etc.
Organize and execute routine lab activities for example: labeling, clean-up tools and desks, keep track of consumables
Our requirements
Ideally a degree in Micro- and Nanoengineering or Mechanical/electrical engineering or physics (university degree required)
Practical working experience in micro-/nano-technology laboratory or R&D department
Interested in semiconductor technology and test technologies
Systematic and accurate working mode
Team player and willing to learn
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, MATLAB, LabView (optional), ANSYS (optional)
Fluent English, German not is a must but would be advantageous
