RAL: 30-45k (depending on candidate’s degree of experience)

Location: Padua (remote collaborations are evaluated)

Contract: Permanent

Commitment: Full time

We are looking for a person to join our staff for the Backend development of digital products, of different scope and nature.

The resource will find himself working in agile cross-functional teams, made up of Frontend / Backend Developers and UI / UX Designers, in an environment where sharing and collaboration are key aspects of corporate life.

Uqido is a dynamic context full of stimuli. We are therefore looking for curiosity and a desire to learn new development tools, based on Ruby, NodeJS, Python and Java.

The candidate must:

Develop Backend side features
Design and develop automated unit and integration tests
Manage and optimize relational databases
Partially manage the CI and CD deployment flow
Perform Peer Code Review with other team members
Analyze and estimate development activities
Limited intervention on the Frontend, when necessary

Required Skills:

Test development and functional development in one or more of the following languages (Ruby, NodeJS, Python, C# or Java)
Knowledge of the most common development Design Patterns
Linux server management and monitoring
Management and optimization of relational databases
Basic management of DevOps pipelines (Gitlab runner and Github actions in primis)
Analysis, identification of test cases and estimation of complete features
