Council is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner
for a Permanent Full Time role

Salary range from $89,867.52 to $104,037.96 + 10.5% Superannuation

Opportunity awaits
As a Human Resources Business Partner you will be responsible for your own client portfolio and join a fun and fast paced People and Culture Team. Reporting through to the Coordinator Human Resources you will be responsible in providing strategic advice and support to internal stakeholders on a range of HR matters, including recruitment, change management, industrial relations, grievance, Award and employee relations. There are some exciting projects in the future coming up with a Salary Restructure and Directorate Restructure planned as well as a Recruitment System implementation.

What we are looking for
1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Human Resources role in a diverse, fast paced environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to use initiative and act independently in a team environment, to ensure excellence in customer service, best practice and the achievement of outcomes.
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to determine the best practice solutions to achieve positive outcomes.
4. Demonstrated high level analytical, organisational and time management skills to meet defined deadlines.
5. Management of workforce matters in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, policy and procedures, including innovative approaches to problem diagnosis, resolution and process improvement.
6. Demonstrated experience in conducting workplace investigations.
7. Experience in the use and maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems in addition to possessing advanced computer skills.
8. Possess and maintain a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
