Hyatt Surgery Center- RN

Practices professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics. Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social, cultural diversity. The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, family, and significant other. Integrates the Collaborative Model of Care with a strong focus on patient centered care into daily practice.

• Current Ohio State license as a Registered Nurse required
• BSN required or must be enrolled in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete BSN within 3 years of hire.
• Has practiced as a Registered Nurse in health care within the last 3 years preferred
• Professional Level CPR required. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonal skills
• Requires critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Two years Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
