Based in our Boulder, CO location, you will champion the planning and technical development of major sophisticated products and/or processes to meet quality, cost, schedule, and performance goals for Emerson DP Flowmeter products. As a Manufacturing Engineer You Will:

  • Define and implement business processes for control of manufacturing flow or build techniques
  • Participate in and lead cross-departmental project teams to improve processes and efficiency, including facilities projects. Employ lean concepts and techniques in the development of improvements
  • Lead global projects spanning multiple factories/product lines
  • Support new product development and product transfer projects
  • Design and implement tools and fixtures for manufacturing floor
  • Implement business systems setups such as items and routings
  • Perform complete cost analysis in support of projects and proposals
  • Specify new equipment to improve quality and/or efficiency or introduce new capabilities
  • Responsible for updating existing and create new work instruction

Who you are:You reliably prioritize multiple tasks at once and manage time effectively to meet targets. You communicate effectively with others both in and outside of the Finance and Accounting department. You proactively seek to understand, contribute to, and improve processes.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school
  • Minimum of four (4) years of applicable experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree is preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
  • LEAN or Six Sigma knowledge a plus

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $85,000 – $113,900 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
