Mercury Security & Facilities Management Ltd has a client list that includes high-profile, blue-chip customers across the UK & Ireland across a variety of sectors.

MSFM is looking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated Marketing Manager to join their busy and friendly team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well an eye for detail. Previous experience in the services sector is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of a Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifying, developing, and facilitating marketing initiatives and opportunities to raise the profile of MSFM and its service offering
  • Liaising with each department to write and edit or make submissions to a range of publications, clients and award panels for the purposes of obtaining higher recognition both individually, as departments, and collectively, as a MSFM
  • Providing marketing support and enabling market growth for each department within our business
  • Attending and presenting at monthly meetings
  • Assisting with the website strategy and content, including updating company group narrative, members’ profiles, news items, and driving forward a programme of Search Engine Optimisation.
  • PR and liaison with the company reps and wider national press on behalf of MSFM and its employees and clients
  • Organisation of MSFM’ marketing events, to include seminars, conferences, parties, corporate hospitality, dinners, drinks, and industry fairs both at home and abroad.
  • Management of external communications and the promotion of MSFM via the website and social media accounts; the candidate will have management of all sites.
  • Assisting with strategic analysis of work and trends to identify future opportunities.
  • Building the profile and overall visibility of MSFM and its clients both nationally and internationally.
  • Preparing media briefing notes and interviewees as appropriate.
  • Maintaining, updating, and refreshing client database.
  • Engaging with management to produce written work for publications and for general dissemination to our database, to include maintaining a library of said articles and seminar materials, such as PowerPoints and speaker biographies.
  • Preparing materials (content, design, and artwork) for advertisements, seminars, social events and industry engagement, including invitations, circulars, biographies, handouts, and PowerPoint.
  • Assist with preparation of tenders and bids

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Marketing Manager are:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous Marketing experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude.
  • Efficient and reliable.
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work under own initiative.
  • An ability to work with autonomy but to also be able to take direction as well as work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
