The Role:

You shall be responsible for providing high-level medical support to our clients including primary health care services in an immigration detention clinic. Key responsibilities:

  • You will be providing Primary healthcare services and initial emergency response where required
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Contribute to the effective multidisciplinary health management
  • Ensure that documentation is accurate, precise and concise

You:

To be considered you must have the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills in a primary health care environment
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in a corrections, detention or remote nursing setting would be desirable
  • Current ALS, Working with Children Certificate and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Live in Australia or New Zealand and have work rights
