duties
Serves as the Chief, Supply Branch, S4, Headquarters, 2nd Signal Brigade under the general supervision of the S4.
Serves as one of the 2nd Signal Brigade’s senior logisticians and in this capacity, as principal technical advisor to the S4 and Commander on the full range of logistics property issues confronting the Command.
Plans and monitors the status of lateral transfers and turn-in of excess equipment.
Manages (LOM) warehouse through supply doctrine, inventory management, physical security, and contract administration activities utilizing the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to manage property receipt

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
One year probationary period may be required.
This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

Position may be designated Emergency Essential (E-E) in support of mobilization and wartime mission.
If designated E-E, employee will be required to remain in the overseas position in the event of hostilities or mobilization until relieved by proper authority.
E-E employees are required to undergo nuclear-biological and chemical training and to participate in readiness tests, mobilization, alerts, and field training exercises.
Employee must pass a medical examination and receive required immunizations for the overseas/deployed location. Prior to appointment to the position, employee will sign a statement agreeing to the E-E condition of employment.
Position has been designated Key. This is a Federal position that shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the Agency or office to function effectively.
Duties of this position require the incumbent to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
Duties of the position require the employee to travel away from the home station up to 25% of the time.
This is a covered position, requiring the filing of DD Form 1555 (Statement of Affiliation and Financial Interest*

To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience at the next lower grade (GS-12), which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: in-depth knowledge of Logistics Information Systems, particularly GCSS-A and EFLIPL. In-depth knowledge of property accountability processes. Ability to organize, develop, and write clear guidance in the form of policies, orders, and memorandums.
