  • Level B: $107,177 – $123,775 + 17% superannuation
  • Level C: $130,185 – $146,825 + 17% superannuation

The University of Wollongong’s School of Civil, Mining, Environmental and Architectural Engineering (CMEA) is one of six schools within the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences (EIS) and provides quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs to domestic and international students.
The University is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join their team to promote and deliver high quality teaching programs in both the foundations of engineering science and the application of the latest techniques and practices used throughout the industry.
The successful candidate will teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas of core Engineering Mechanics, Design and Structures. Our key Structural Engineering research strengths are in the areas of analysis and design of composite and steel structures, blast and extreme loads on structures, and ecologically sustainable structural design and materials.
The incumbent will be expected to establish an extensive research program that complements and enhances our research capability in Structural Engineering and play an important role in the development of the teaching and research programs at UOW. We are seeking an individual who will become a leader in the respective research field.
The applicant will join a dynamic team of established academics with a coherent mix of experience and ability and therefore will be a team player, contributing to joint publications and research grant applications.
