The role
Position title: Finance Officer Accounts Payable
This position is responsible for the administrative and financial tasks associated with all facets in the Accounts Payable function of Council’s finance system. You will support and contribute to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions whilst ensuring that customer service is delivered to a high standard.
What you’ll bring
This opportunity is well suited to someone with experience with processing financial transactions, including reconciliations and preparing financial reports.
Specific experience in the area of Accounts Payable is desirable, however not essential. You should have demonstrated experience in large volume data entry accompanied by precise attention to detail.

The package: Commencing salary package circa $59,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
Closing Date: Sunday, 22 January 2023 at 11.30pm.
