The Role
We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer with previous design experience. You will undertake detailed designs both autonomously and as part of a larger multi-disciplined team.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Preparation of civil engineering designs and supporting calculations
- Preparation of drawings, including management of drafting resources
- Development of scopes of work and specifications for construction of the designs
- Site inspections
- Preparation of technical reports
- Co-ordinate with the team, key stakeholders, sub-consultants and contractors.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- A desire to learn new skills, innovate and develop your expertise in civil and structural design
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Passion to deliver engineering projects from inception through to execution, within time and budget constraints
- Previous design consultancy experience will be highly regarded
